DURING MY TIME WORKING WITH BAR A VINS, I MANAGED THEIR INSTAGRAM PAGE INCLUDING THE CREATION OF ALL THEIR STORY & IN-FEED POSTS, GRAPHICS, AND ONGOING ENGAGEMENT WITH FOLLOWERS & CUSTOMERS. I WOULD ALSO TRAVEL ON-SITE TO CAPTURE PHOTOS & VIDEO FOR EVENTS AND NEW ITEMS.

I WAS ABLE TO ESTABLISH IMPRESSIONS GROWTH BY 20%, INCREASE FOLLOWER COUNT BY 15%, AND GROW THEIR ENGAGEMENT WITH CHARLOTTE FOLLOWERS WHICH WAS A CORE BUSINESS GOAL. CHARLOTTE NOW MAKES UP OVER 55% OF THEIR REACHED AUDIENCES.

MIDAS MAGAZINE IS A STUDENT-LED & RUN MAGAZINE THROUGH THE UNC CHARLOTTE MEDIA DEPARTMENT. THESE ARE EXCERPTS FROM ONE OF THE SPREADS I CONTRIBUTED TO DURING MY TIME ON THE PHOTOGRAPHY TEAM FOR THE MAGAZINE.

THE PROCESS OF DEVELOPING THE MAGAZINE INCLUDED BRAINSTORMING OVERALL THEMES AND DEVELOPING UNIQUE STORY TOPICS TO INCLUDE. I DEVELOPED A STORY THAT HIGHLIGHTED INDIVIDUALS IN CHARLOTTE COOKING FOOD WHICH ILLUSTRATED THEIR CULTURAL BACKGROUND AND HELD A SPECIAL MEANING IN THEIR FAMILIES.

THROUGH THE PROCESS I WAS ABLE TO SPEND TIME WITH, PHOTOGRAPH, AND INTERVIEW THE INDIVIDUALS, CAPTURING THEIR FOOD AND STORIES. IT WAS AN INCREDIBLY HEART-WARMING EXPERIENCE WHICH LED TO SOME DELICIOUS MEALS AND FAST FRIENDS.
